Job Title: Tender Manager

What will you be doing?

As a Tender Manager, you will manage, coordinate, and submit tenders in accordance with quality requirements and within given time frames. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and submitting competitive tenders and proposals according to company procedures and specific client requirements.
    • Acting as a client relations point of contact during the tender phase.
    • Gathering and coordinating information from all concerned departments.
    • Evaluating and mitigating encountered risks within tenders.
    • Calculating costs based on progress and cost information from concerned departments.
    • Updating tenders according to clarifications.
    • Conducting price and contract negotiations with clients, with support from technical and contractual where needed.
    • Following and aligning with company tender processes.
    • Handing over to Project Manager.
    • Analysing win/loss of tenders.
  • Evaluating bid/no bid of incoming tenders, in line with approval levels.
  • Approving tender submissions within set approval levels.
  • Attending industry exhibitions and conferences, where relevant.
  • Keeping up to date with market developments (competitors, equipment, price levels).
  • Complying with company policies, practices, programs, and procedures.
  • Completing required training as identified by the company training program.
