What will you be doing?

As a Technical Superintendent, you will:

  • Provide shore-side technical and operational support to assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with company policies, international regulations, and class requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and performance of all onboard machinery and ensure Planned Maintenance System (PMS) schedules are adhered to.
  • Monitor and manage vessel operating budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on safety and operational standards.
  • Conduct vessel performance analysis, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure timely procurement and supply of stores, spares, and services to vessels while minimizing downtime.
  • Attend vessels for surveys, dry-docking, and inspections, ensuring repairs and certifications are completed efficiently.
  • Develop and execute long-term maintenance plans in line with company standards, including overseeing dry-docking activities and compiling detailed reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with vessel CE, Masters, and owners, providing detailed reports on vessel performance and operations.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • MEO Class I Certificate of Competency (COC). Must have sailed as a Chief Engineer.
  • Experience with bulk carriers or tankers & previous shore-based experience in vessel management is essential.
  • Experience with Dual Fuel Engines & varied vessel types is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of technical vessel operations, compliance requirements, and risk management.
