What will you be doing?

As a Technical Superintendent, you will:

• Oversee the technical and operational performance of your assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with all safety, class, and regulatory standards.
• Provide proactive technical support to vessels, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Manage and plan dry-docking, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing timely updates on vessel conditions, performance, and budgets.
• Monitor vessel fuel and energy performance to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Prepare for vetting, inspections, and audits, ensuring vessels are always ready for compliance reviews.
• Build strong relationships with shipboard staff, leading training and development initiatives to promote a positive safety culture.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational and financial reporting.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Experience sailing as Chief Engineer on Tankers.
• Minimum 2 years in a shoreside technical role
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of vessel propulsion systems, technical operations, and cargo handling equipment.
