Who are we recruiting for?
We are representing a leading LNG transportation company seeking a Technical Superintendent to join their team. This role will manage the technical operations of LNG/LPG vessels, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the fleet while driving technical excellence across all operations.

What will you be doing?

• Overseeing technical management, dry docking, and repairs for LNG/LPG vessels.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, class rules, and industry standards.
• Managing vessel budgets, costs, and operational performance.
• Leading risk assessments, audits, and safety procedures for the fleet.
• Providing expert technical advice and marine engineering solutions.
• Supervising maintenance systems and ensuring continuous improvement.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Marine Engineering degree or equivalent (Chief Engineer experience preferred).
• 8-12 years of technical management experience, with 2 years as Chief Engineer or similar role overseeing LNG/LPG vessels.
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling equipment, containment systems, and propulsion plants for gas carriers.
• Proficient in risk assessment, auditing, and budget management.
