Job Title: Service Coordinator – Bridge Maintenance

What will you be doing?
As a Service Coordinator, you will be a qualified, focused, and motivated professional with the ability to thrive in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. Your inspired and determined mindset will help you:

  • Coordinate service requests, scheduling field engineers for vessel attendance worldwide.
  • Liaise with clients, ship owners, and agents to provide assured updates on service progress and cost estimates.
  • Manage service reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission to clients.
  • Oversee the procurement of spare parts and materials for service jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory standards.
  • Provide creative preliminary technical support before escalating to engineers.
  • Support emergency service requests with brave, around-the-clock availability as part of a rota.
  • Prepare quotations and pricing for spare parts and services, assisting the sales team to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and service partners.
  • Identify and implement improved processes in service delivery.

Are you the ideal candidate?
We are searching for a successful and assured professional with:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the maritime or technical service industry.
  • Or progressed to 2nd/3rd Officer at sea and now seeking your first shore-based position.
  • Strong knowledge of marine communication, navigation, and safety systems such as GMDSS, AIS, Radar, and ECDIS.
  • Vibrant organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Determined problem-solving skills to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with service coordination software or ERP systems (a plus).
  • Flexibility to support global operations outside regular office hours.
  • Knowledge of international maritime regulations like SOLAS and GMDSS (preferred).
