Job Title: SVP Technical – LNG Terminals

We are recruiting on behalf of a distinguished player in the energy infrastructure sector, with a focus on LNG terminal development. Reporting to the CEO, our client is seeking a highly experienced SVP/VP Technical to spearhead the identification, development, and operational management of LNG terminal projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead large-scale energy projects that have a lasting impact on the industry.

What will you be doing?

• Drive Project Opportunities: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new LNG terminal project opportunities in strategic locations.
• Evaluate Feasibility: Assess technical, financial, and environmental viability of potential projects and deliver comprehensive reports to aid investment decisions.
• Lead Technical Development: Oversee the technical design, FEED, and detailed engineering of LNG terminal projects to ensure alignment with commercial models, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage Stakeholders: Act as the key technical liaison with regulatory bodies, contractors, suppliers, and joint venture partners to obtain necessary permits and certifications.
• Construction Oversight: Manage the construction phase to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.
• Operational Leadership: Lead commissioning, start-up processes, and ensure smooth transition to commercial operations while maintaining top-tier safety and regulatory compliance.
• Risk Mitigation: Implement safety management systems, risk mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to international regulations throughout project phases.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion innovative technologies and best practices to optimize terminal operations, safety, and sustainability.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the development and management of LNG terminal projects or similar large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven technical project management expertise in the LNG or energy sectors.
• Strong experience managing multi-stakeholder, regulatory-driven projects with complex infrastructure demands.
• In-depth knowledge of LNG terminal technologies, safety protocols, and operational best practices.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive multiple project timelines, and deliver on-time, cost-effective solutions.
