Who are we recruiting for?
We are seeking a dynamic PPA Originator for an IPP based in Houston. With a steadfast commitment to clean energy, they are continuing to grow their diverse project portfolio, which includes solar, BESS and onshore wind.
What will you be doing?

Manage Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of power purchase agreements (PPAs) within regulated markets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize contract terms to maximize revenue and mitigate risks.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with utility companies, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and development teams to support PPA origination and execution processes.

Market Analysis and Strategy Development
- Conduct market analysis and monitor regulatory developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company’s position in regulated energy markets.

Contract Management and Performance Monitoring
- Monitor the performance of existing PPAs and evaluate contract performance against established benchmarks.
- Implement improvements and adjustments as needed to optimize contractual outcomes.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing power purchase agreements (PPAs) within regulated markets, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the energy industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing complex agreements.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships at all levels.
