Job Title: Global Power and Energy Storage Lead

Who are we recruiting for?

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Global Power and Energy Storage Lead for our client, a leader in the power and energy storage industry. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a unique, award-winning team that is at the forefront of industry advancements.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintaining a strong understanding of emerging regulatory frameworks related to electrification.
  • Understanding the role of power and energy storage technologies in the industry’s decarbonization efforts and supporting department activities in these sectors.
  • Conducting market research, business analysis, and data analysis in electrification, renewable energy, GHG reduction, and relevant technologies.
  • Providing clients with technical support related to planning and developing electrification projects.
  • Participating in business development activities, building relationships, and managing interfaces with clients to scale up power and energy storage activities.
  • Leading and supporting the preparation of proposals.
  • Supporting various projects, services, and other department activities.
  • Conducting seminars and workshops, and attending industry events and conferences related to the energy transition and its applications on marine vessels and offshore units.
  • Contributing to authoring publications and thought leadership documents.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor’s degree (or recognized equivalent) in a field related to power and energy storage is required; a Master’s degree or higher is welcomed.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related practical experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of power and energy storage technologies, such as batteries and fuel cells.
  • Experience in power and energy storage-focused project development and construction.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen interest in renewable energy and decarbonization for the offshore sector.
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and effective time management skills for handling multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the capability of presenting and working with clients.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System, or the ability to learn it.
