Job Title: Global Offshore Renewable Energy Lead

What will you be doing?

As the Global Offshore Renewable Energy Lead, you will be at the forefront of the offshore energy transition. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a strong understanding of emerging regulatory frameworks related to offshore energy.
  • Leading efforts in offshore renewable energy technologies and supporting industry decarbonization.
  • Conducting market research, business, and data analysis in renewable energy, GHG reduction, and offshore technology applications.
  • Providing technical support to clients in planning and developing wind farm concepts and projects.
  • Engaging in business development activities, building strong client relationships, and scaling up offshore wind activities.
  • Tracking and assessing renewable energy industry biodiversity impacts.
  • Leading and supporting the preparation of proposals.
  • Supporting various projects and services within the department.
  • Conducting seminars, workshops, and attending industry events and conferences.
  • Contributing to the authorship of thought leadership documents and publications.

Are you the ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate is a determined and creative professional with a background in offshore renewable energy. You will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or recognized equivalent) in a field related to offshore renewable energy; a Master’s degree or higher is welcomed.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in the offshore renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore renewable energy technologies (e.g., wind, solar) and project development.
  • An understanding of methodologies and processes used in wind and solar energy analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.
  • A willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
