Job Title: Business Development Manager – Energy Storage & VPP

Location: Finland (Remote or Hybrid options available)

Who are we recruiting for?
Our client is a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector, on a mission to accelerate the deployment of cutting-edge energy storage and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) solutions. They are now seeking a motivated and determined Business Development Manager to drive growth and create strategic partnerships in Finland’s dynamic energy market.

What will you be doing?

• Identifying high-impact opportunities across the Finnish renewable energy landscape, including BESS and VPP projects

• Spearheading business development across BESS aggregation, optimization, and C&I microgrid projects

• Building and nurturing relationships with asset owners, project developers, EPCs, and grid operators

• Crafting tailored proposals that align with customer needs and market trends

• Working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Are you the ideal candidate?

• 5+ years’ experience in business development within renewable energy or related industries

• Deep network across developers, EPCs, electricity retailers, and grid operators in Finland

• Proven expertise in energy storage, VPPs, or C&I microgrid solutions

• Strong understanding of Finland’s renewable energy landscape and regulations

• Fluent in English, with Finnish language skills a major advantage
