What will you be doing?

• Developing and optimising designs for wind propulsion systems tailored for maritime applications.
• Utilising Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural integrity and performance under various conditions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate designs seamlessly into new and existing vessels.
• Driving innovation by incorporating advanced materials and technologies to enhance system efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the design process.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Proven experience as a versatile Design Engineer, capable of managing the full product development lifecycle, including concept design, structural hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), detailed design (with a focus on design for manufacture and assembly), and the creation of construction drawings.

• Mechanical or structural design engineering experience within the maritime or related industries.
• Strong understanding of materials science and structural analysis.
