As a Solution Consultant, you will play a critical role in the presales process, working closely with sales, product, and technical teams to demonstrate the value of our technology. You will be responsible for building customer-specific technology roadmaps and solutions, aligning our product capabilities with customer needs and long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
Presales & Customer Engagement
Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and craft compelling product demonstrations and solution strategies
Lead discovery sessions with prospects to analyze their business challenges and map them to our solutions.
Deliver engaging, value-driven presentations and demos tailored to different stakeholders, from technical teams to C-level executives.
Develop customer-specific technology roadmaps, outlining how SpecTec Cruise’s solutions can evolve alongside their business.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through digital transformation initiatives with our technology.
Manage and maintain demo environments- so we can always show our solutions at their best
Product Expertise & Solution Design
Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio, particularly AMOS, to effectively communicate features, benefits, and differentiators.
Design tailored solutions and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that address specific customer needs.
Work closely with the product team to provide customer-driven insights that shape product development and innovation.
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to refine positioning strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and PS teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Support the sales team in responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and technical inquiries.
Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, including webinars, case studies, and best practice documentation.
Commercial Awareness & Sales Process
Understand and contribute to the sales cycle, from lead qualification to deal closure.
Work collaboratively with sales teams to build compelling business cases that demonstrate ROI and drive purchasing decisions.
Identify and address potential commercial risks and opportunities within the sales process.
Influence pricing and contract discussions by aligning customer needs with product capabilities.
Track and analyze customer engagement data to refine presales strategies and improve conversion rates.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in a solutions consulting, presales, or product-focused role within a technology company (preferably in maritime, cruise, or asset management industries).
Technical & Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise software, asset management systems, and digital transformation strategies.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to create and articulate customer-specific technology roadmaps that drive long-term value.
Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Ability: Experience in identifying customer pain points and designing tailored technology solutions.
Collaboration & Influence: A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and can influence decision-making.
Nice to Have
Experience in the cruise industry.
Familiarity with AMOS
