Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading ship management company with a strong presence in the LNG sector. With a fleet of multiple long-term chartered vessels and expansion plans in place, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, growth-focused company that is actively expanding its business and commercial strategy.

As a Commercial Manager, you will:

• Oversee the commercial management of a growing fleet, including contract management, business development, and chartering strategy.
• Lead key commercial projects, including a high-profile project with an oil major involving the chartering of multiple LNG vessels.
• Develop and negotiate long-term contracts, ensuring optimal commercial terms.
• Support the company’s growth strategy, managing commercial aspects related to fleet expansion and business development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, technical, and finance teams, to ensure commercial alignment.
• Manage and mentor a Commercial Associate, providing leadership and career development.
• Engage with international partners and stakeholders, representing the company’s interests in commercial discussions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in LNG commercial operations, with a strong understanding of contract management and chartering.
• Previous experience as a Commercial Manager in the shipping or LNG sector.
• A background in ship owning or ship management companies is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and business development skills, with a strategic approach to commercial growth.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with global stakeholders and represent the company in high-profile commercial discussions.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• UK-based candidates only (visa sponsorship is not available).
