Lead Engineer

Job title: Lead Marine Engineer

Location: Kuwait (Shore-based Maintenance Facility)

Who are we recruiting for?

An organization dedicated to delivering 24/7 maritime security through expert maintenance and repair services. This dynamic role supports the Kuwait Coastguard by ensuring continuous availability of critical assets for maritime operations.

What will you be doing?

· Overseeing operational assurance, maintenance management, and defect rectification to meet strict SLA availability thresholds.

· Coordinating with the Duty Ops Manager to schedule maintenance and manage the asset duty cycle.

· Ensuring the team follows safe working practices, implementing and enforcing robust safe systems of work.

· Providing daily Situation Reports (SITREPs) to the UK Engineering Manager.

· Managing technical support stores, consumables, marine diesel fuel bunkering, and quality control.

Are you the ideal candidate?

· Strong background in marine engineering with expertise in maintenance and repair.

· Proven ability to lead and manage teams in high-pressure environments.

· Familiarity with maritime operations and asset availability management.

· Knowledge of safe working practices, quality assurance, and fuel quality control.

· Experience in delivering operational updates and managing technical inventories.
