What will you be doing?
- Lead the Australian market entry as the first local team member, establishing a strong presence and laying the foundation for a regional subsidiary.
- Drive sales growth by pursuing inbound and outbound leads, with a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other emerging markets.
- Develop and execute innovative, results-driven sales strategies to expand market share and cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and analyse competitive dynamics in Australia.
- Collaborate with the global team, reporting to the Director of Sales in London, and align local sales initiatives with international goals.
- Play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s future commercial team in Australia, ensuring sustainable regional growth.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Qualified: At least 8+ years of proven sales leadership experience, ideally in SaaS, data analytics, or battery systems.
- Strong: A track record of exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a hunter mentality with a focus on delivering results.
- Motivated: Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in unstructured environments and seize new opportunities.
- Creative: Skilled in conceptualising and implementing innovative sales strategies.
- Connected: Existing network within BESS, automotive OEMs, or related industries is a strong advantage.
- Assured: Confident communicator and negotiator with strong business English proficiency.
- Focused: Based in Australia, ready to work independently while staying connected to a global team.
