Who are we recruiting for?

Our client is a motivated and award-winning leader in renewable energy development. With a vibrant presence in over 16 countries, they focus on utility-scale solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). They are seeking a determined and innovative Engineering Manager to lead engineering execution for large-scale renewable energy projects in Romania.

What will you be doing?

• Overseeing project engineering from design to construction, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborating with designers, construction teams, and stakeholders to optimize layouts and resolve design challenges.
• Supporting technical aspects of tendering processes, including evaluation of offers and contract discussions.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental factors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing solutions to design and construction challenges in collaboration with project teams.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• A qualified Electrical or Civil Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in utility-scale wind and solar PV engineering.
• Proficient in tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, Windpro, Wasp, and PVSyst, with knowledge of high-voltage infrastructure.
• Experienced in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and problem-solving during the design process.
• Strong analytical, teamwork, and reporting skills with availability to travel as required.
• Fluent in English, with a deep understanding of local regulations for grid connection.
